Buffalo Chicken Snacks for the Big Game

So I have an issue with the Superbowl.  I want all the snacks and goodies but there is no way I can eat everything I want to make.  The top of my list for football snacks is anything made with buffalo chicken.  I always want nachos, meatballs, and sliders on the menu.  Over the years I have incorporated buffalo chicken into all three plus some other great snacks.

Buffalo chicken nachos are a delicious twist on regular nachos. Or you can mix it up with these buffalo chicken fries.

I love empanadas and this recipe using refrigerated pie dough is easy and delicious.

These quesadillas are loaded with cheese and flavor.

These sliders are filling and full of ranch flavor if you are a ranch fan.

For a slightly healthier twist, try this twist on a lettuce wrap.

What is a party without meatballs? These meatballs are spicy and delicious served with blue cheese or ranch to dip.

I have a friend who makes the best chicken dip ever. He makes it by the vat and always remembers to bring me some…hint, hint.

Buffalo Garlic Chicken Dip

  • 1 pound + chicken
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup + hot sauce
  • ½ cup + garlic wing sauce

  1. Soften cream cheese.
  2. Boil chicken until cooked, cool, dice & shred until small and fine.
  3. Blend cream cheese, hot sauce, wing sauce, ranch dressing, and blue cheese dressing until smooth. Get all the lumps out of the cream cheese.
  4. Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, chicken and garlic. Stir until well blended.
  5. Place in baking dish. and bake 20 – 30 minutes at 350 degrees until melted and bubbling.
  6. Stir before serving.
  7. You can also take and freeze before cooking to save for later use.

The post would not be complete without a recipe for actual wings. I like these honey buffalo ones. They have the right amount of crunch and the honey tempers the heat of the hot wing sauce.
