Snickerdoodles – 24 Days of Christmas Cookies

I bake cookies for Christmas, a lot of cookies for Christmas. I have tried reining it in since I do not need all those cookies but there are specific cookies I have to make and then there are cookies I want to try every year so I end up with a lot of cookies.

Some how I managed to never have a snickerdoodle until I started working for my last company. They were the owner’s favorite so I tried making them and they became a favorite. I have tried many recipes and keep coming back to this one. The cookies are chewy with a little tang. I like them extra soft so I tend to undercook them a little bit.

I can’t have a snickerdoodle post without including a picture of Snickerdoodle the cat. My daughter was considering naming her brownie when I said “She looks like a snickerdoodle, not a brownie” and the name stuck.
