Chocolate Crinkles – 24 Days of Cookies

These Chocolate Crinkles are rich and chocolatey perfection. I confess I have never made crinkle cookies before. These came about when I asked a friend what types of cookies his mother made for Christmas. He mentioned these so I tried a batch for him. They will definitely make the list for next year.

The trick is to not over bake them. I baked this batch 5 days ago and they are still soft and chewy. My children suggested adding chocolate chips but that might make them a little too rich. They have a pretty intense chocolate flavor.
