Happy Halloween Eve!
Appropriately enough October 30th is National Candy Corn Day. Candy corn is one of those love it or hate it things. I can eat a few pieces around Halloween but it would never make it the rest of the year. Even if you don’t like candy corn, these desserts below are a cute addition to any Halloween table.
What a great idea for a quick easy meal before Trick or Treating!
I know a few moms who could probably use this candy corn cocktail with whipped cream vodka Halloween night.
And if you have a ton of candy corn and don’t want to eat it, check out these cute centerpiece ideas on B.Lovely Events. This one from Pockets Full of Posies is my favorite.
Halloween Costumes
Do you buy Halloween costumes or make your own? I am still mad my mother would never let me buy a costume from the store. It is one thing if you are super crafty and can sew a beautiful costume but she wasn’t (sorry Mom). The Halloween costume which still annoys me the most is the year she dressed me up as the girl on Morton
My kids are too old to go trick or treating any more but I did get Ashley dressed up as a deer for a Halloween party Saturday. The animals get subjected to costumes also, they look thrilled, don’t they?
And finally one of my favorite Halloween pictures from several year ago, my little cowgirls.
How do you eat your candy corn? Am I weird if I eat each color separately? I swear they taste different so I take a little nibble of just orange, then yellow and finally the white tip. Sounds weird just typing it 😁
