No-chill Sugar Cookies

No-chill Sugar Cookies

Guilty confession, I actually like sugar cookie dough better than sugar cookies.  Don’t get me wrong, I like a good, soft sugar cookie but the dough is my guilty pleasure.  My mom would make sugar cookies every Christmas and like most sugar cookie recipes, the dough had to be refrigerated first.  Those waxed paper wrapped tubes of dough sitting in the frig were irristible.  You could break of a little piece and reform the dough to cover your tracks and Mom would never know.

These no-chill cookies eliminate the need to chill the dough and roll out beautifully.  The cookies don’t spread and lose their shape like some no-chill dough.  They bake up soft and tender with a good sugar cookie flavor.
