Pecan Sandies – 24 Days of Cookies

December 4th is National Cookie Day. What better way to celebrate then with traditional Pecan Sandies. This buttery, nutty variation on a traditional thumbprint cookie is a perfect addition to your cookie plate. The praline icing in the middle of this cookie is simple and makes the cookie pretty. I happened to have leftover icing from yesterday’s pumpkin cookies that I used on this batch so mine are not as pretty as the original recipe.
