Lemon Bars – 24 Days of Cookies

I love lemon bars.  If I see them on cookie tray, I will go straight for them.  they do occasionally disappoint.  I have tried many recipes with varied results but the recipe below is a winner.  Fresh lemon juice is key and makes all the difference, I like them lemony.   The powdered sugar in the crust makes it tender.
